What changed

As of June 2026, Lumovex accepts USDC, a US dollar-pegged stablecoin, as a payment method at lumovex.co.uk. We are one of the first UK red light therapy brands to add a crypto checkout option, and from what we can see, the first in the at-home LED mask and panel category.

The option appears at checkout alongside the existing payment methods. Nothing about the rest of the buying experience changes.

Why USDC specifically

We looked at this carefully before turning it on. The short version: USDC is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, which removes the volatility problem that makes most crypto a poor fit for everyday spending. A £149.99 mask costs £149.99 today and the same £149.99 tomorrow, regardless of what Bitcoin is doing.
